The fact that the world is in a deep economical crisis does not seem to affect everybody on the planet. The very wealthy people do not suffer and seem to be spending even more cash to procure toys like luxury jets.

Companies dedicated to VIP and VVIP aircraft completions seem to be protected from the economic turmoil and this is thanks to the owners and operators of the large luxury jets. It seems easy to understand that if someone can afford to spend over 60 million or more on an aircraft, then he is probably a billionaire. And if he is, then he will probably continue to spend. The fact is that smaller businesses which sell products that cost less, and to millionaires are most likely to experience the global crisis. Here we see the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire, while a millionaire tends to be more cautious with his money these days, that does not matter to the owners of the big money; they are not affected by the current global difficult economical situation.

Speaking of billionaires we may mention HRH Prince Alwaleed of Saudi Arabia, whose net worth is estimated at US$17.08 billion (down from $21 billion) according to the Arabian Business rich list published December 2, 2008. He is ranked by Forbes the 20th richest person in the world. The prince purchased his very own Airbus 380 Prestige, the first VIP version of the aircraft, but has not decided which completion centre will furnish it with I am sure, only the finest available interior designs and state of the art communications including live TV, good connectivity, and in-flight entertainment.
