Anybody heard of Asus laptop brand

Well of all the brands we consider, it seems that Asus name is kind of isolated. What do you think of the brand quality. From what I've heard the same maker also manufacture for Sony laptop brands as well, so that must mean it is good. True?

ASUS as a brand is too good and is persisting for years now. Speaking about Laptops they have rescently come up with laptops and netbooks. They also have a wide range of Smart phones.

They were mainly into manufacture and sale of Motherboards since quite long as per I know and just rescently come up with netbooks and smart phones.

From what I read in reviews, they actually produce quality laptops with mostly good recommendation and praises. Further to my search it seems that this one is owned by Taiwanese company.

Ye it does produce quality laptops and lot of netbooks. Hwang did you hear about the Eee PC??? Its their production. And peobably the lowest priced netbooks in the market too.

Eee PC? Nope. I will check out this one.
Even my friend told me that they also produce laptops for Sony range but not sure whether the claim is true.

Googling will get you some good results. The Eee PC is for students or newbies and is a 10 inch laptop i mean the netbook hardly costing around $250

Oh I see. It's quite impressive. Looks like it's a budget notebook with price brought down to minimum.

I know that they have made computer related items but I am not familiar with any laptops or PC's. But I do think I saw the mini lap that was mentioned above.

Yeah, I don't think it's that famous in US as well. In Asia here, it's still practically unheard of but at least we all know about its presence.

Ye the actual laptops are not much heard here but the motherboards, netbooks and smartphones are doing good here in my country.

Yup, in fact they have motherboards as well. I just saw the actual laptop. Not that impressive really. The screen is not those type which is crystal clear.

And I took my kids to Best Buy, an electronic and appliance retail store in the States. They have some of their laptops. I was told that people were reportedly happy with them. I did not have time to get into details of what makes them so good though.

Wow that model seems to be excellent. Would not be cheap too! Its a C2Q processor with GE force card and DDR3 ram.

Thats an excellent or the best config to own.

Yeah, it's exactly what you call super machine. It represents every laptop owner's dream. If only they allow laptop for rent or take home for trial period before buying. LOL

You know I did not make a mental mote of the price. They only had one model out when we were there. I will check the price and capability next time I go there or see it at another store.

Anyone knows of a site that provide a real valuable unbias laptop review. Most sites that I came across seems to be something like those "paid-to-blog" kind of thing.

You would think the idea of some site would be to provide a objective review. I mean I know why you have the paid to blog product review that a company wants. But you would think an Internet Company would provide a honest and frank style site that did give a critical view.

I mean you have the consumer report type sites and magazines but I believe you have to subscribe to them. Consumer reports is usually dead on most of the time and always informative about any product.

So if it is worth it too you financially to invest in a membership then I would recommend them. Although some local libraries have past magazine issues for free.
