Suggestions to make Bevyhost a better place

My 20 minutes browse around Bevyhost tells me some of these facts.
1) Never use blue, they are dull and uncommanding
2) Revenue sharing to attract members
3) Maybe groups and community will help

Hmmmmm...... User comments are indeed valuable may be the admins and the mods think over some really good and genuine comments.

Here I wouldent like to agree with your first openion. Blue seems dull but it isant unpleasent thats what counts more.

Bright colours actually annoy visitors. May be they seem attractive during the first visit but after a long time they start annoying or hurting the eyes. So there is a tendency that visitors avoid using your site for long.

Blue green and some other colours dont look to be great or attractive during the first visit but when you are areound for long they dont even hurt or annyoy you. Its always pleasent using them.

So preferably forums and other sites preffer to use blue gree or other light colours if I am not mistaken.

More comments on this appreciated incase if I have made a mistake putting it into words.

The admin of BevyHost is already considering a new skin, I don't know which color it will have but I am sure it will be nice to look at.

Hmmm....Actually blue color looks ok to me. Maybe it's because a lot of new forums also using the same color so maybe choosing other different color might make this forum stand out. Anyway it's different from one person's taste and preferences to another.

One more thing i would like to add is most of the times minght 90% times the default theme of the forums may be VB,SMF or PHPBB is blue. So thats the reason why most of the forums are blue initially

Any specific reason for the default skin to be blue ????? Does any one know ?????

Heeeheee.... Yeah same with me here as I wonder why new forum must be blue. I think we can change the skin of the forum right? I'm not sure where we can select the option.

Lol thats an easy job i think.

You only need to creat or select a new theam upload it to the theam folder over your hosting platform where forum files are hosted, then go to admin and activate it.

Not sure but i think SMF also has the facility to directly install theams from the admin panel. Feel like have seen that but dont remember. But most of the updates, mods and new releases can easily be implemented from the admin area.

Its just fine with me if we just keep using blue colour or default theme. I also agree with adsense revenue sharing. That will help more people to stay in this forum. So far, i believe admin and mod know how to did that.

Actually the current blue skin is quite pleasing to the eye and the layout is very simple to navigate. Perhaps we can change the skin every week or fortnight to jazz up things abit. Just a suggestion

Hey dude, I'm not saying on the forum admin's perspective. I'm a forum member who just want to try to change the skin. I thought I've read before saying that you can change the skin of forum but can't remember how to do it. Can't find the option in User CP.

Oh sorry! Got it!

My be that option is disabled or not enabled in the admin area or may be there aren't any other skins uploaded so they are not showing up.

But yes forums do have that feature??? I have sen it across some forums.
