Re: small business ideas on Yuwie
I never joined Yuwie anyway but the last time I heard about it, some actually claimed that they are not paying. I do not know how true this is, it's just one of the so many new sites out there that sometimes we just find it's getting hard to trust anything

Re: small business ideas on Yuwie
More and more sites are doing this, but at the same time more and more people will refuse to sign up as it creates more and more spam

Take for example, the number of PTC sites that you see nowadays. It's a long list out there and which one actually pays and which one is really good? It's just hard to trust.

Well, sharing information and ideas about making money on-line should be good. Nothing wrong with that. We all learn from each other and there's nothing to be selfish about. It's hard work that matters.

Re: small business ideas on Yuwie
thats true i certainly wouldnt reccommend Yuwie if you are looking to make money out of the site or are searching for a social networking site to replace facebook.
Still its a decent source of information on other internet opportunities.

Re: small business ideas on Yuwie
Sometimes I would rather prefer if Yuwie just remove the sign up make money concept. If they are really serious about social network sites, they should improve and get attention of others based on service quality. I mean people will come and go and if the site thrive on people who has the mindset on to join - just earning money, sorry to say it won't last long.

Yes I completely agree with Hwang. It really dissappoints when any site claims to pay and then never pays. So instead of creating false hopes in the minds of newbies they should try to establish themselves as a full fleged social netorking site. In that case may be the people who use it would stick to it for a longer time insted of getting dissappointed and leave using it.

Re: small business ideas on Yuwie
Well i have seen proof thatthey do pay its just they don't pay much money at all. I don't think it will die away becuase its offering to give people money. If it goes it will go becuase as a social networkign site its very very basic. Its at least ten years behind facebook in terms of concept, servces and layout

Re: small business ideas on Yuwie
Some of the top names like facebook, friendster and myspace don't need that sort of "pay to join thing" to survive. Look at how successful they are today.

Re: small business ideas on Yuwie
Yes but when Myspace started there wasnt any real competition! When facebook started up it was originally targetted at purely university students and then it gradually expanded once it had gained a foothold in the market place.
Yuwie has gone straight in to a very competitive market place. Its surviving and its probably surviving for one reason only the opportunity to make money
