@liow OMG...I don't see anything wrong with buying ebooks. Not all things are craps like what you think and certainly if it's a genuinely good book, I think it's worth paying for. And the question on whether it is really good, then it's up to your judgment to decide.

At least give people credit for their amount of time that they put in.

I wouldn't call selling ebooks a scam. But usually what happens is that buyers after being persuaded by the marketing hype, bought the ebook and find the contents not up to scratch and call the seller a con. This usually do not happen to real paper books.

My opinion is that the different reactions to e-books and paper books is because the seller of e-books does a lot of promising on the advertising and this sometimes does not match up to expectations and paper books don't.

Well whatever it is, to make a generalized statement saying that all ebooks are useless cannot be accepted. I've learned a lot based on tutorials written by others and have benefited from them so far. Some are good while some are not to expectation. It's up to us to choose and decide as well.

Of course its not scam. But many people love to call it scam or useless because think that information at that ebook is useless or crap. So far, its nothing wrong with that..

Even sometimes its crap. But if i got 1 information i never get at any site or ebook, i will feel fine. At least, i learn something new from that crap e-book.

Some paper back books are scams aswell, all to many times Ive seen actual how to become rich books, no word of a lie, its a joke

Maybe. But i will read that books first. If i'm not gain anything from that ebook. Its fine. But if i judge that ebook before i read it. I don't think so i have a right thing to said anything for some ebook.
