Nintendo Wii over-rated?
Is it just me or do you guys think the Ninteno Wii is both over rated and over priced. The only advantage it seems to have over other game consuls is that you occasionally work up a sweet.
You could always buy a Chinese copy, Ninjendo Vee, off the internet for £15 ($30 US) and all you need is a adaptor. It works just as well :-D

Re: Nintendo Wii over-rated?
It is a very good console, its basically a family one and with all the bits with it they are trying to make people more active.
But alas it gets boring after a while lol

Re: Nintendo Wii over-rated?
Well that is true of any new product that comes on the market. Initally there is great excitement, followed by a rush - everyone must have this product, then interest declines and eventually people get bored with it and something new comes along.
That is unless Nintendo come up with a way to improve the consul.

Re: Nintendo Wii over-rated?
I don't think so.
I mean, maybe it gets boring for hardcore gamers, but for casual gamers like myself, I still find it very amusing.

Re: Nintendo Wii over-rated?
I still prefer the PS2 if i'm totally honest at least for football or shooting games. If I wanted to play a strategy game then I would definately continue to use the home PC. Only thing I enjoy about the wii is motor racing or boxing!

I quite like the whole aspect of getting the kids up and moving, rather than sitting on their backsides, just bashing buttons on a Xbox 360 controller.

Well i surpose it is good for your health but its no sustitute for the real thing. It probbly doenst work your muscles in the same way either.
Biggest problem is teenage guys and using this to go bowling rather than go to a bowling alley! Shocking they will never get girlfreinds if they don't go out!

Re: Nintendo Wii over-rated?
I understand they are trying to get people more active, but does this really work? I still like Play Station products more. Nintendo was cool when I was a kid but since then their products seem not to be that great. At least that is my opinion.

Re: Nintendo Wii over-rated?
I have to say i prefer the playsation for certain types of games mainly football and shoot em ups. They just don't feel as good on the Wii. Likewise I tend to use the standard Pc or lap top for strategy games. The wii however is good for racing games especially if you use a wheel attachment.
