I believe many people happy if you get what you want and you also get something good from the company you use. Some company love to give free gift for anniversary their company or sent online card to me if they have some promotion or great news for us.

Yeah, that's the main objective towards maintaining continued business.
Giving free gifts, rebates, offering discounts, customer loyalty program, all of these adds up towards satisfaction.

Simply put: No matter how small a free gift is, people are happy to get something free or even feel wanted by a big company

Yes, they will feel that they are show how appreciated and that's how large companies use it to make their customers stay. Relationship and maintaining happy customer is key to success.

Yap. People really honest and greedy. As long as you give something for free, they will forget many thing even sometimes your service not really good. So far, you give something to them and will make them feel satisfied.
