There really isn't a place on this forum for this topic but I chose here to start this thread. Maybe someone can open up a new room for the topic. Or just leave it here. Whatever.

Anyways,

We need to discuss what happens AFTER THE SALE. How do you interact with your customers after the sale or after they have visited your site and let you know that they are interested in your service.

We have to make sure that we don't only take from these customers but that we contact them again - and again - and again. Not only to sell them something more but to Thank them for their interests and to see if there is some way they can think of that would make the site better. Or to ask them "since you were happy with us - would you mind referring us to your friends and family and perhaps offer them something for their referral.

Anyways, these people are already interested in you so you must keep thier interest.

Uh...great. What would be the best name to call that section? Customer Service or After Sales Feedback? Maybe I don't get you properly in the first place, you mean providing a platform to discuss how to provide after sales service support?

I always get many feedback after the sales i got when i sells some product. they always ask me again many times even i already write the guidelines and intruction. For me, i think they only want support and prefer ask us again. Its good for me because i always get many sales with same person when i launch new product.

Hwang,

Anything to do with "After the Sale". That could be the heading for the room "After the Sale" and then the description could be - Here we discuss backorders, unhappy/happy customers, return merchandise, asking for referrels, contacting customers to see if they are satisfied, discuss the many things that can happen after the sale is completed.

Geee...I never realize it could be as simple as that (the name). Well I hope the admin sees this and he should be able to come up with something. Let's just hope

Looks like you got it all. So many times I have been guilty of this myself - one day turns into 3 and 3 days into 2 weeks and then all of the sudden it has been a month and a half and still I have not contacted my customers. This is not a good thing. We should always keep in mind to contact our customers to make sure they received their order, or to make sure their download was successful - what ever the case may be. We should take the opportunity at that time to ask them about their experience on our site. Was the site easy to navigate, did they find any broken links and then ask them if they have any comments, concerns or suggestions. Let them know we are building these sites for them and their input is greatly needed and appreciated. Then - if you get a comment or a suggestion that you can implement - recontact the customer and let them know you have used their idea and offer them something for a reduced price as a THANK YOU. You will get another order from this customer (even if the price was reduced - it is better than 0) and this customer will feel so good that someone excepted his/her idea. Makes them feel important. They will brag about it to everyone they know and then those people may just want to see what your site is about or what their friend did to help. It just goes on and on.

Don't ever forget your customers. Without them we would be nothing.

And while we are on the subject of Thanking people - Thank You BevyHost for creating the room.
