Does anyone ever win any of the millions of free entry contests floating around the internet? There seems so many promising both large and small prizes. I don't think I have ever come across a winner in my life.

Has anyone out there ever won?

You are right - nobody has really win big. This is exactly what happens in the real word too. Go to a shopping mall and shop and fill up a contest form with all your personal details and you win nothing biut lots of junk mail.

The most annoying is coming across sites whereby they will tell you that you've won millions even before you fill up any form. Any yeah, it's just marketing hype as well.

No never till today I have won any online contests. I do used to participate in them a lot earlier but then they always used to turn me off so then I almost left leaving participating in them.

But LOL just as said above I have got thousands of mails saying that i won $1 million but not even single penny in hand

So basically the entire set up is a scam? I read an article on money saving and said you might as well enter internet contests becuase they were totally free and give you a opportunity to win atleast something. Clearly that isnt the case.

Surely it is against the law to promise prizes and then fail to produce a winner?

Not all of them scams. I also already run some contest at my blog and some of people from my country participate. Its really good and i like it. So far, ites another way for get traffic. If some of you want to join contest, just make sure you join under a good site or honest admin.

This not hype - this is fraud and scam - the advance fees kind of scam that you have to pay admin fees over and over again to claim the big prize. Another variation of the nigerian scam.

So since you know it's scam why ever bother looking at it in the first place? If somebody comes offering you easy money without needing yourself lifting a finger or participating in any sort of televised contest program, then it should ring a bell in the first place.

Haha. Yap, be careful about is the point. No need to angry if some of you got cheated. Be careful always and check first who the person run that contest. If not, you might be losing some money if that contest want you to pay some fees first.

I have never won. It is possoble that they could be scams or impossible. Most of the time I dont waste my time joining.

Just like lotteries even legit ones, it is very difficult to win. By all means if you have the time enjoy joining such internet contests and if you strike, treat the win as a bonus that happen once in a blue moon.

well there is the well known saying that the lottery is the only tax in the world that people do not mind paying. And it would appear to be true at least over here in the U.K. I presume it is the same everywhere else.

Well if you think of it. The lottery is hard enough to win and people are actually buying tickets for that. So if you are entering into an online contest event the ligitiment ones will be nearly impossible to win. I cant win anything anyways, i have really bad luck, but if you think of it, it makes sense, if its free to enter everyone is going to be doing it.
