I had read some ebooks how to get your page PR7, so i will share will you..

After the first PR update by Google you will now have 30 domains with a PR1.

Now register one more domain and have the 3 PR5 domains link to it.. at next PR update you will get a PR7.

Sell advertising on your PR 7 domain for around $100 / month.

Hmmm....somehow I don't buy it. In order to jump to PR 7, there must be a least a number of high quality one-way backlinks which is PR6 pointing to the site itself.

Another thing is that how is the person going to maintain 30 domains at one go? It's not going to gain any PR (even PR 1) by just registering to some directories.

PR algo is much more complicated and fool proof than that.

Thats a really good idea. I think this idea could really help my site at least get to a PR 6. I would really need that for my site.

Yeah right. Try it and let me know the results

Make sure you are ready to sacrifice at least $500 bucks for the domain and hosting itself. How about the money for listing to the directories. That one is not accounted yet.
And make sure brother google is nice to you. If it find anything fishy and the domain is banned in search engine then it's astalavista

Well I would just list the domains in free directories.
But I get what your saying, I woudnt want to be blocked from google.

Nowadays google don't give as much importance backlinks placed on *just* any directories. Link over there don't carry as much weight as before.

Most of the directories nowadays has internal pages of low page rank. Note: I'm not talking about the home page. So I'm not sure how you are going to find a bunch of high PR 6 or 7 backlinks when the internal pages doesn't rank that high.

Oh yah the homepages have the PR. But even if the pages do have a pr its proboblly low. Is it true that listing in low PR sites can make your PR even worse?

Hmm...pretty tricky. But if you have pr 4 site and can get free related pr1 backlink, who wouldn't want it anyway? After all, you can't blame or prevent people for voluntarily or willing to provide link for you.

Yah thats what I was thinking.
But since it raises you're pr if you go on a PR7 site, and you're PR3, then wont it lower to put you're site on a PR0?

I want as many links as possible but im not sure if it will hurt me or help.

Hmmm....not sure but I don't think having a bunch of PR 1 linking to a high PR 7 site is going to hurt the ranking.

It shouldn't hurt. Also Google knows that you can't control which sites link to yours.

Yup.....It nice to see you around Jordi. Your words and statements seem to clear the doubts.

But, If a bunch of non-related (not your niche), no ranking sites that suddenly link to you in one day, then it could spell problem.

Yah thats what I was thinking, but i heard that it does on another forum before. I denied a few link exchanges because i thought about this.

Huh? But link exchanges are far different compared to that. We are talking about direct one way link here. Anyway, link exchange does not carry as much weight like previously.

No I meant i denied link exchanges that had a lower pr then me because I thought that it would hurt my PR.

Usually it's a very complicated process when it comes to exchanges. The most important is finding one that is of the same PR.

Or better....Higher PR. This why so many people turn to paid links.

Hmm...but higher PR sites would not want to accept your links. Similarly the other way round when you have high PR, you wouldn't want to consider exchanging with lower ones. Becareful with paid ones, google doesn't like that.
