Seth Godin is an absolute legend. You just can't argue with a word this guy says. If you have a product to sell you need to grab a customers attention and you also want them to pass on the information via word-of-mouth. The best way to grad someones attention is by doing something totally unexpected.
However I do believe their is such a thing as bad publicity.
