Default How much webspace and db space will a forum require???

I am intrested in hosting a health forum but presently I am in a bit of lack of webspace.

On one hosting there is just 95mb space free and on other there is 500mb.
Is it posible to run a forum on 500mb. I feel that it would be very less. Isant it?

One more thing i want to stress is both are linux hosting? Is it advisable to run a forum on linux account?

Need some good advice.

Thanks

Its better if you have it on a web hosts that has good free space because if its a forum and you have less space the posts would just eat up your free space especially when it becomes populated and active.

its better if you choose to get a hosts that offers extra space and dont aim for free webhosts because they might go down without prior notice.

Oh thats great. By the way ow do you find those cheap hostings. Cn we expect some details from you too.

By the way are the hostings you say reliable? Cos mostly such cheap hostings are never reliable and for forum ect its better to have a safe and secure host.
