Dont be surprised it not yet??

Just wanted to know wether we could do any thing in case if any one hacks our hosting account or any forum??

Can we contact the hosting seller and ask him to change the accounts pasword or omething similar in that case?? Would that be possible for them?

And how about incase if your admin acount at any forum is hacked?? How can we save it then?

Yap. You can contact hosting seller or contact their support. I believe you will get back your account. Its not hard. But i believe some of you can manage to do that. I never face that problem. But seems it will work. Be sure you can prove that site is yours.

Oh do we need to prove that its our site too????

May be an email ID or an email verification would be more than enough isant it, Cos they should be having the email ID or any other info on their bord or in ay documentations.

If your site / forum is hacked contact the provider with your details, normally its identified with your e-mail address you signed up with, you normally get alot of details from them when you buy the hosting.

If its hacked and deleted never fear! because all companies that use any sort of server will ALWAYS backup there servers more then 4 times a day (some companies push for 24 backups a day) so nearly everything can be replaced.

If my site was ever hacked it wouldnt be the end of the world, I backup my site personally every 24 hours (fresh copy of the SQL databases I use), yes it would be a pain but it just means that I can get it back quickly and change the passwords and login details and be up and running asap

This post was really informative. +rep for it.

Never knew that the hosts backed up their data so frequently. Is it the hosting company which does that and what about the resellers who sell hosting? Do they too?

And i really feel that it indeed is a good thing to keep a self back up too, as you said.
