many typos

I see a lot of websites that have content with a large number of typos. I wonder why people do not try to write content that is error free or at least close to being error free.

No not some genuine sites or good sites which are developed properly would have those. Only some sites which are designed by novince designers or by some general people or students would have such errors.

That can be most common on blogs cos every one is into blogging these days. Even some noobs get up some fine day and start a blog

Having a site with a lot of typo errors can actually bring down the mood from visitors. I don't understand, if you can have time to write the articles and put up the site, why can't just spend a few minutes to check typo error.

Yes I am also not sure why people do not take the time to review their content more carefully before going ahead and getting it posted online.

The problem is that some people are stuck to deadlines for posts etc. I mean on my site (when its back up :/) I only have about 5 minutes to post so I really hammer out a post and hope that it is ok, normally if there is a problem someone will e-mail me and I will update the site when I have a chance.

Yeah, that's the thing always. Sometimes you are forced into complying to deadlines and it's better to submit first and do the necessary changes later.

People say thats a bad thing to do but it shows your readers that you are updating all the time and if they comment that their comments are being taken into concideration and they feel like they have a place on the site

Yeah that's true to say, but I would avoid jeopardizing my reputation like submitting articles with typo error or submitting web contents half complete. Usually I ask for delay it possible.
