Java game

Hi. I need some advice before I start to create some game. I would probably use Java language. Do you think that Java is the best language for a game making project? Please tell me why. If anybody can give me some advice, that would be a big help.

I dont know about the PC games, but java 2 micro edition (J2Me) is best for mobile application and games. its very easy to create games on J2ME, so start to create games on J2ME platform......

Yeah java would be good option......because it provides lot of inbuilt classes that can be used directly.....Moreover also provide easily used GUI....

Java is what most games are made of. Since its well known with games I would use Java. Google what ever games are "in" these days and make one like that.
