What do you consider good blog design

I just register blogger today. I can see many blogger template. Are they all the same? What is good and what is no good. Which design is search engine friendly. Thx

Generally how you design the website will not effect much on your SEO but it will determine whether it will attract traffic. Good design with nice color will get the attention while flash should be kept to the minimum. Most important is your web content. However, it might be a good idea to ensure that navigation and buttons are correctly place and visible to entice people to look around.

Does it mean choosing any template the same? I see the choice of template limited. Can we import other template to blogger. Can it be allowed? Thx

I think if you have a good design skill, you can easily provide a variety of template for the blogger. The design wont affect the search engine, but I would suggest you to use a good design to attract the visitor. Eye catchy but not too much

Thx but design from scratch is hard for me cause I don't have the knowledge. Can we download some templates and make changes to it? I just want to know is the new template can be download to blogger.

It's not as hard as it looks at first. I started my site from scratch. While it is not the best design/layout etc on the web, it is something I did on my own and am proud of that. I have been only doing this since October and picked it up so quickly on my own. I am not sure if you can change templates. I would think they are copyrighted or something?

Yeah, never give up on anything that you want to do. Everybody else has to start from somewhere and even the best online marketer around also begin from scratch.

Not all of that template same. Mostly different and you can get many blogger template at many site. Just choose which one you love.

The design are different but is all of them good for search engine? I just confuse myself. I see websites have high visitor and it's the reason of having good design to attract people. I just want it to be good.

To summarize it, just get a design which everyone will like. Maybe ask friends honest opinion and what do they think. Conduct a pool. Sometimes you may not know how others would think even though you can say it's nice.

The best design is one that works perfectly in IE6 IE7 and Firefox, sometimes because of the acid test failing on IE6 and 7 it can look completely different in different browsers

Yap. Some people can give us a different view. Maybe that will change our view about our site. Maybe we can addon something at our site to make our site looks better.
