Website Design for beginners

I must confess I know absolutely nothing about website design, yet I wish to create my own website in the hope of making enough money on the side to buy a new car within three years. By a new car i actually mean a BMW Z4, so a considerable amount of money will be required.

So anyone have any advice on where to look for ideas?

Dude designing a site isant that tough these days since the WYSIWYG have been launched.

Now even a nOOb can also built sites like a pro using these editors. And mind me its just so simple as using MS Word. Morever ever hosting provider nowdays provide it free into your account which is very very useful for editing or modifying your sites.

Everybody has to start somewhere. It may be a very ambitious dream but anything is possible. I just remember that pedrito posted a very good tutorial about design over at the tutorial section. I think you should check that one out.
