Gimp

While I use Photoshop for my primary web design work, I feel that GIMP is a worthwhile piece of software worth mentioning as well. Any hardcore users who prefer GIMP over Photoshop?

I havent used GIMP till yet. Till now i am just stuck with photoshop. When you are accustomed to someting thing happen better only using that thing. This is the situation with me.

By the way how is GIMP. Is it only for Image manupilation or any other features in that?

I have never really tried it before so I am not sure as well. I use Paint.NET sometimes which I think is a fine piece of software. I use Photoshop for most of my graphics needs normally.
