Default Firefox 3

Firefox 3 Release Candidate has been launched according to eFluxMedia. This version is an intermediate step between beta and the final release version.

Firefox 3 is supposed to be easier, faster and more secure.

I'm definitely one of those guys lining up and wait for the new release. I hope they live up to expectations like being faster. I hope navigation wise remains the same.

Yup, Firefox has always been my favorite browser.
I'm just worried that when they release the new one, it might be bug-ridden.

FF3 beta version is out and available for download. Has any one downloaded it. Reviews are that its the fastest browser till today with a speed 10 times faster than IE. So worth trying.

But the stable version is still not out. Was trying to download the beta version but my net is sucking a bit this days. But will be downloading it soon. Will also leave a review here after I try.

I was tempted to but I would rather wait for the full version before downloading it. Usually there's a lot of bugs in the beta version and eventually you would want to uninstall it later.

Just a question on Firefox; why is it that Firefox wipes out all your bookmarks every 2 to 3 days. Any way to prevent this. It is driving me crazy losing all the bookmarks.

Help Hwang, you are the champion for Firefox

Strange...I never had the problem like the one mentioned by you. My bookmarks are all in order and they are still there until today. I even kept a backup for it in case I need to reformat my com. Unlike IE, Firefox uses only a single HTML file to hold the entries and the version of Firefox that I'm using is located at Program Files/Mozilla Firefox/defaults/profile
Check your setting to see whether they are correct.

Thanks Hwang for the helpful tips. I found someone with the same problem on another forum, so I hope we can solve the mystery together as I am dying to dump IE after this problem has been fixed

Firefox deletes Bookmarks when it's not closed properly.
Or that's what I've found.
There is a way to restore your bookmarks, but I've forgotten how.
Google?

?? I'm not sure if that's the actual cause of bookmarks getting deleted but it's sure strange. Anyway, all the bookmarks are stored in your bookmarks.html located at the directory which I mentioned above.

I love firefox, but i’ve noticed just recently that Firefox 3 seems to have problems with Javascript. Because of it, it’ll crash with anything that uses Google Analytics or Wordpress Stats, at least from what I’ve found so far.
