Design to standards?

Do you design to the W3C's strict standards (guidelines)? I do, and it has helped with cross-browser design. However, I don't design for the older browsers anymore. If people are still using them, they are too lazy to upgrade and therefore I am too lazy to design for them. :P

. Dont think i need to tell you about my standards. You already know. They are very higher than W3C

Any ways jokes apart. I think henceforth i should follow your advice and try and meet the W3C standards. After some practice i think i would definately be able to get to that level.

It's always good to know people will adhere to standards. Moving forward is the best thing for the web, and if we all code the same; browsers will have an easier time advancing.
