creating a forum

Not sure if this is the right area to post into but never mind.

I want to set up my own forum for a niece subject but have absolutely no idea how to go about it. How do i set it up, keep it running when i'm not on-line and administer it?

any advice welcome

Well it does not seem as if any other forum members are overly keen to enlighten either of us at the current time! Hopefully they will change their minds and share their secrets

In addition I would like to explore a different format or style. The majority of all the forums you see are too similar looking. I have seen a few more unique displays but I would like to work on a fresh approach.

Does seem like anyone is interested in our little question A-NAT. Maybe I have posted it in the wrong area of the forum or maybe it is such an easy question that no one cares to enlighten us. I think we are goign to have to figure it out for ourselvrs unfortunately

Thank You very much A-NAt I would appreciate that very much. It can't be that difficult after all plenty of people are already doing it. There is bound to be a tutorial on the internet somewhere that tells you how to do it. Might be bets just to type it in on google and see what comes up
