40 millio hits per month???? Lol how much bandwidth would it require???

Lots of people who actually are or were bloogers are coming to light these days. The other day I read about a 108 years blogger who was the oldest blogger, Seems like internet is giving a high status and respect to bloggers these days.

Lol he's a medico??? then how did he lend up with blogs on Apple and trading??? Seems like he's a great fan of Apple supporting them to spread a good word about them

Great!!

Well I think shoemoney, johnchow and problogger would be in the same category, infact shoemoney has pics of his huge mansions with swimming pools and johnchow routinely talks about the exotic restaurants and places he gets to visit coz he's soooo rich, and on those sites you should see how people lap up every word of theirs and the kind of hits they get with all kinds of gimmicks they employ.

Yes shoemoney and johnchow have been really great. No matter what they blog but every thing has been succesful for them.

Lol getting motivated from them even I had planned to register my name as a domain and start blogging but then held down the plan cos I already had a couple of domains lying around and even could not give proper time to the sites which are presently online.

But still its my drean of being known as a sucesful blogger no matter how much cash I make from the blog.

lol..life the problem with these bloggers is they talk about everything except the way they really make their money. N just like you have a few sites, they have plenty of them that work well, look at problogger, his ehow site gets crazy amount of hits from people who write absolutely crappy stuff on things like how to attach the hose to your faucet just with the hope that they will make some pennies out of it. After reading up extensively on these sites I've realized life, that they talk about blogging but thats not where the money for them comes from anymore. They use every trick in the book like linkbacks, SEO, directory submissions and contests to attract the crowd. Infact Google dropped Johnchow from their PR because he was tweaking things too much. N despite whtever they may tell you, content isn't the king anymore, most of them have guest writers writing on their sites and they charge them as well. Johnchow charges you $500 to review your blog or site, and problogger has an elance kind of stuff that gets him a decent amount of money. You'd be amazed at the number of sites they juggle with. Its pure business now blogging is now only a part of it not the whole thing anymore.

Yes basically they wont easily share the links or the ways from where they build their treasure with the intensions of keping them unique and unsaturated.

I guess Kim is also unique because he gave up his lucrative medical practice; how much people who give up a doctor career to write?

if you were making much more then you would,lol..liowkc, we have a popular hairdresser in Delhi who used to be a neuro surgeon in UK. Now he makes more money cutting hair and gets talked about his cross dressing. @ life, I have done a lot of research because I quit my job to write, so was desperate to make some good money, with plenty of time on my hands I read every blog I could, dl every free e-book and frankly didn't learn much. Most of the sites just mash up the same stuff and reveal nothing of value.

A doctor becoming a hairdresser - that is the new one for me. One may not give up a medical career because of the prestige of being called doctor

Somehow ,its not about prestige anymore, its more about following your own dreams. I can say this because I had a very lucrative career as an HR manager in the IT industry, and everyone in my family thought I was crazy when I quit. But I like writing and right now things are tough, yet I prefer it to the job I was doing. I'd rather not be just a cog in the wheel anymore N believe me this hairdresser is more popular then he'd ever be being a doc, all the models go to his salon, he gets invited to all the dos and parties hard. Can you think of a similar life for a doc

Of course I know tha a hairdresser can earn lots of money (by cutting hair and be a confidant of celebrities) but I think being a doctor is still more prestigious. As for your move, I applaud your courage to pursue your interests and dreams.

Thanks liowkc, you're always very kind Believe titiles are very important in my country as well, but these days I've seen many people letting go of their lucrative whilte collar jobs to do what they like doing and they are very sucessful at it. Its easy to be one of the crowd but to stand apart and do what you believe in takes courage and I always admire people who do it differently. But then, I am a rebel at heart myself
