Default Your Finger Prints may be at Risk

Citibank credit carde holders take note. Due to the worldwide stopping of its One-Touch program, Citibank has in its hands many fingerprint records.

What are they are going to do these records? They have yet to make a statement on that.

Ridiculous. I will never abide to that kind of program. Just imagine having finger print database. Wow... Let's see how it goes on first but personally I feel there may be security lag by using the Touch system esp cloning.

Actually the program has its merits and its roots in biometric identification. Scanning a finger is faster than signature based transactions so there is some time savings and no margin for forgery.

Take about forgery. I don't believe anything is fool proof. I actually don't like the idea of getting my thumb scanned. Much better to show off to my buddies my plastic card rather than my thumb

But the trend is towards biometric recognition which includes your facial features, retina and of course fingerprints. Definitely all these can be forged to a certain extent but much more difficult than a signature

Sounds a lot like the ID cards they want to introduce, which again has really good and really bad points. I wont go into it in detail, but I honestly dont believe it would benifit any country.

Imagine getting scanned everything you make a purchase. The amount of rays that you receive would be damaging. Hmmm...anyway not yet started here in my country. Let's see whether there will be huge reception for the new feature.

Actually with the threat of terrorism and rampant identity theft, biometric recognition will be the way for the future whether you like it or not.

Hoho. Its dangerous and sometimes many people will exploit our finger print. Yes. Its risky and its also secure for some purpose. So far, its depend on some bank or organization who want to use finger print for their security or not..
