eBay and Pirated sofware

America's Sofware & Information Industry Association has threatened to sue eBay, frustrated by the lack of proactive measures against sellers who distributed pirated software on its site. The association had recommended several measures to reduce sales of illegal software but eBay ignored its advice..

I think they should take the action as soon as possible. It not some buyers selleing those pirated stuff but its a huge amount of sellers doing that.

BTW I was looking for an PC game the IGI2 Covert Strike?? Any idea how much it actually costs. There are sellers on Ebay selling it for $5 and $8.

Lol I did not make it to buy it form there yet.

Are you talking about counter strike? $5 for an original is very reasoanble.

Yes I am. Thats why I was bit confused wether it was actually the original version or a pirated one. But onemore thing is that the guy ships worldwide, so do you feel that he will take risk to circulate or send a pirated CD across borders???
