Some questions regarding CC on paypal

My credit card would be expiring soon and as in usual practice, the card shall be replaced by my cc issuer. I'm just wondering during this time period (replacement), will that have any effects or implication on my paypal account verified using that credit card? Just want to find out more about this and be prepared for any eventualities. Anybody has encountered the same situation before, care to share their experience?

I don't think so. What you need is renew your credit card. Nothing wrong with your paypal account i think and you no need to worry anymore. YOu can ask paypal if you want to get better explaination.

I think I better confirm with paypal on this issue. Do not want anything bad affecting my account.

I do not think it affects your account. You usually get your new card sent to you in the mail before your old one expires. When your new card is active you just need to go in and update the new expiration date.

No there isant any problem with it cos i have tried it. Presently i have 2 CC on my paypal board. One of them is already expired and other is new. By the way i did add a new card but i never remove the old expired card.

What they exactly want is that you have an active CC attached to your account thats it. May be its one or two they would not matter.

When my vcc expired. I still can use my paypal like always and my paypal still remain verified. I don't think its a big problem right? So, i think you no need to worry about that right?

Well, thanks for the feedback. At least now, I'm rest assured there's no implication what so ever to my paypal account.

I do think thats there is problem associated with it.

Till today what i have noticed is that maximum of the accounts which were limited did not have a live CC or VCC attached to their accounts. I mean their VCC was expired.

Thats the reason why paypal limited their account and asked for their identification and then the limitations were removed only after adding a new CC or VCC after providing the identification details.

This means that Paypal would be waiting for some time to check if you add a CC after your older is expired. If not they limit your acount to avoid any frauds or scams and then ask you to add a CC again

Well, in that case what would happen if the card already expires and you don't want to renew a new card? Would your account becomes unverified or they will limit the account. Just for thoughts.

No it wont get unverified for sure. It does remain verified. But after some days or may be some months if you still dont add a CC they they might limit your account.

They do not limit is ASAP and you do stay verified.

Maybe. They should do that. But i already submit all my details to them. So, they already know i'm a real person and not a fake account. What paypal don't want if some people who make multiple account with vcc but using fake information..

If you real person and not do anything wrong. Its just fine even you use vcc or credit card. My vcc already expired. But my paypal remains verified like always.
