I had a chargeback recently by a guy who is obviously a scammer. I sold an ebook to him on a forum and he paid using paypal. It's not much only 4.50 which I sold to him with a discount. Yesterday, he made a chargeback and before I could prepare myself to resolve the issue by providing the ebook copy and PM conversation, the case has been closed by paypal. Not even a chance to submit my evidence. Did any of this thing happened to you that the case is already ended before you could submit anything. Before that I had chargeback before, some won while some lost But this one is totally fast.
Is there a way to open a dispute on the chargeback? How could you do that? The worst part is, Paypal never give a conclusion or verdict on why they choose that decision. At least they should let you know about it.
Oh thats really bad to hear. But how ould Paypal do that. Usually it takes three to four days to resolve it.
Can it be if the scammer i mean the other guy had provided some important evidence or info which went in his favour? Are there any posibilities of something like that?
I think that's the reason. It only take about a day and the case is resolved going into favor with the other party. That's why sometimes I just don't understand how their system works.
I still can't believe it that it just happened so fast. So much for paypal outstanding policy. If I want to, I can actually open a case to dispute it further and sending mails to paypal for an explanation for this but I guess just forget about it.
