Default Keyloggers targeting payment processor passwords?

Well there are so much hype these days about keylogging software targeting payment processor's password, I just wonder what we can do to prevent these things from happening? I've read in forums before that one of the reason the password got stolen was because of this. Is it true also that antivirus software were unable to pick it up?

Thanks for the info. Did not know much about them. If the dont get detected by antivirus than its trouble. Cos usually if any trojan or any spyware are there we can use antivirus to get rid of them.

Any idea about how they hack the passwords and acounts. May be that can help us being a bit alert with such programmes.

I'm sure about how the program works in detail. But what I know is that it will try to detect every keystroke input in your computer so that it can recover any passwords. Nowadays I scan my computer something like 2 - 3 times in a week just to make sure it is clean.

Its fine because i already install it to my own PC. So, i know if someone try to do something at my PC. Hehe. But i never let anyone know about that. I'm bad huh..

At least, when i forgot about my password at some forum. I can recover it from this way.

You actually installed keylogger to your own pc??
Why do you want to do that for?? People might be able to gain access to your computer if you have that installed in it.
