Default Which do you think is the best payment option when selling websites

Hi to get your guys opinion. If let's say, you want to sell website, which payment processor do you think is the best?
I've thought of using paypal but it's too risky because I don't trust anybody. Egold is too troublesome because I don't want the money to get stuck in the account.

Well I could ask the buyer for wire transfer, however it's just too costly. Any other good suggestion?

Not paypal for sure! E-gold i dont think any one would actually pay to.

Better go for something like bank transfer or wire transfer. Not sure but noticed that most of the people preffered escrow or something. Never used escrow so no idea about how and what it is, but I think its considered as a secure form of payment. And most of the site owners preffered it??

Hmmm....after thinking for a while I think using Western Union or Moneygram is still a more safer option. What do you think? The only obstacle is convincing the buyer to use the payment option and I don't think many like to use it for the high fees.

Western union may be considered safe but dont know why it isant considered much??? Might be cos of the high fees involved

Or may be you can use some middle man transactions like xoom ect which allows cash pick up or account deposit, similar to Western union but the fees are comperatively lower I suppose.

Yeah, Why didn't I think of Xoom? Using these methods are pretty safe because there's no chargeback whatsoever and once the deal is done, money should be in the pocket already. Thanks for the thoughts.

Thx BTW I got the answer why people did not prefer to use Western union and Money grahm ect. The reason is that it actually isant favourable for the buyer.

If you see here you are looking about your own security something like you are thinking that the opposite party can scam you but similarly the other person also would think that once he sends you the cash you what if you never gave him the ownership of the site

Its something like with those processes you get the cash in your hand so any one can cheat after getting the cash in hand .

Basically we sitll need to identify a good money processor which looks into the goods of both "the selling party aswell the buying party."

Yeah, I think you also have a point there. Who knows where the money is and how the buyer can get back if the deal doesn't work out. The escrow service which you mentioned should be the solution to the problems.
