Default Anybody use Plimus here?

Recently I've seen people mentioning about plimus. Has anybody here use it before and what is your general feedback? Is it similar like paypal in any way?

Ok, I've been considering a switch away from eSellerate to Plimus because it would equate to substantial savings on order processing. I've now sent two different emails to their [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] address, and have received responses to neither of them (I've been waiting for several days).

This is more than a little discouraging.

No not sure if its similat to paypal. I think its more of an intermediate or mediator. Like if you are intrested in selling something then the buyer pays and sends asks for shipment to Plimus and then Plimus verifies and asks the sell to ship the product.

Not exactly sure if it works this way. Have tried it once to buy a e-book online. Certainly unhappy with the service.

I entered all my details and paid to Plimus via paypal but after some time they reversed my transaction acusing for uncomplete personal details. I had mentioned my Personal address as well as my cellphone number too, but it never went through.

Finall i got the ebook by paying to the sellers Paypal account directly

Uh...Finally got my answer after a long time.
Looks like based on your feedback it's even easier to just directly ask the seller to accept paypal and it's as easy as that.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll sure have doubt to ever think of using their service then.

Hmmm....I'm not sure why so many people are interested in using the service. In fact every forums that I go, there are bound to be sellers/buyers mentioning about plimus. If they act as mediator like in Escrow service, wouldn't that increase the cost further? there are paypal fees and there are plimus fees....
