Is 2Checkout good?

How many member here use 2Checkout? Is this good and same like paypal? I am confuse because i see people say they can pay use 2Checkout.

I cannot use it because the fee is too high for me. I cannot do that. I just prefer with paypal. Its more simple i think to use paypal than 2checkout.

Talk about 2Checkout, there fees are really killing. They charge a setup fees and these kind of things. In fact, a lot of users have also been complaining that they hold up payments and even froze account without valid reason. My first experience using them was like a year ago and never use them after that.

Yap. I want to try it before. But when i saw the fees. Oh no! Looks like i need to use paypal only. But so far, many people use it. Maybe they think 2checkout have more security and safety than paypal.

Seems that the general consensus that 2Checkout is not good due to high fees and Paypal is still king. I hope a viable competitor to Paypal will emerge over time to challenge PayPal.

Paypal is mediocre and at least it provides us an option to receive payment. Although they charge a certain amount of fee, we have no choice but to live with it. But 2checkout? It's outrageous and far worse than paypal

Nope. If you have money. Nothing wrong if you use 2checkout. Many people will believe you because you use an expensive method. So, they know you not cheater or bad person. Not all people can use 2checkout. So, its good for your name and for promotion.

Paypal is still king with sheer presence and wide acceptance and still reasonaable fees.
Guess we have to wait sometime for a second competitor to emerge.

I dont know if its good cause I never try it, which I doubt the features of it. I prefer to use Paypal because its a world wide acceptable payment options, more than egold or moneybooker

No doubt about that. They service more better than paypal. Just the sad part is they fees. Its really high than paypal fees. Thats why many people prefer to use paypal than 2checkout.

Tonight I was surprised to discover that a customer failed to place an order with us because they were put off by the MasterCard SecureCode screen which asks them for their date of birth, credit card details and email address yet again. The customer did not wish to give these details to yet another third party, which is totally understandable, yet it is mandatory in order for customers to place a successful order via 2CO.
As Mastercard Securecode is an ‘opt-in’ service anyway why is 2CO using/enforcing this?
I completely understand the need for extra security when it comes to online payments but don’t make it mandatory. Shopping on the internet is daunting enough for first time users, they don’t need more barriers to purchasing and sellers don’t need more reasons for them to leave the sales process.

Just been looking at their site, if their service has to be double checked by credit card company for fraud then I dont think I would use it. Even then it could be a 3rd party company which could charge for the use of their software or checks meaning more cost to your or your customer.

I dont want to even talk about the charges lol
