Transfering domains from one host to another!!

Can any one tell me how do i transfer my domains from one host to another.

The thing is that i bought some domains from a site called as winkdomains(winkhost) couple of months back since they had some offers. But now i intend to move them to godaddys or any other host in my country who is easily acessible to me. How do i do that now???

Does it cost anything to do that? Can i do it any time or do i have to wait for my domain expiry date???

Sometimes your web host will actually help you transfer your domain name. Otherwise you have to do the switch through your original domain registrar or you can point the domain to your website of your new web host.

You can transfer domain names. Sometimes registrars have fees for this, however most of the time there isn't. When you transfer a domain name, it will be renewed for another year at the new registrar. This will of course cost you. There are rules to transferring, usually the registrar should be able to help you transfer.

Actually, its easy to do that. Some webhosting already offer that service, but you must pay for that job. iTs not really high price because when i survey its only half of one domain rate. So, its still cheap and i will do that soon.
