How to detect Fake PR?

I have noticed that some guys at forums fake PR with some certain ways and sell off the domains for high prices. But then after buying the buyer notices that the PR was a fake PR.

So what I was trying to find out is how to detect if the PR id valid or Fake???

Any particular tool for finding that out???

Well, I think the tool above could help you. Even the explanation are provided in detail there. But I'm not sure how accurate it can be. There are thousand ways or method other than the 301 redirect than scammers can use.

Hey Hwang! Did you try it??? Was that working for you???

It says "Can not verify Pagerank at this time" for every domain I try to verify???
Looks like a good one from the discription and othere details there but why do I get that message every time??

Hey it works for me....I just type any random address beginning with www and it does give a report. That's strange...Any particular site you want to test out? Maybe you can PM me the site address.

Hmm yep I checked it again. I think if the domain has no PR or PR0 it shows that message.

I tried it with some high PR domains like google ect and it did work.

BTW I went through the site and its preety good, lots of tools and SEO stuff over there and moreever very good stuff. The site actually if you see is on a wordpress platform I think but very impressive.
