Thinking of converting my blog to dofollow

I was thinking of removing the nofollow tags from my blogspot template so that all comments will be dofollow. Do any of you guys do that? I've heard that by doing that, it will promote your blog and make it popular. However, I was only afraid that it could promote spams.

No idea about that dude. By the way can you explain me what is the importance of these dofollow and no follow? What are they actually? Why are they used? Never remember using them.

But did hear about them from some SEO experts and programmers.
Please can you explain?

At the moment, my blog is a Wordpress installation with default settings except for my theme. I am not sure if that's nofollow. However, if you are going to change your blog to dofollow, be prepared to handle a lot of comment spam than usual.

It's actually a tag introduced by Google to avoid link spam. Before the introduction of the "nofollow" tag, people has been abusing the privileges by posting comments in blogs and everywhere hoping to get a backlink.

If I decided to go ahead and join the dofollow movement, my concern will definitely be on whether it will actually help my page become popular or the other round a platform for spam content.

I don't think it is going to help your website become more popular. Most probably, your blog will become a hotbed for spam comments especially with software like CommetKahuna around to find blogs not using nofollow tags.

CommetKahuna? I'm interested to learn more about this software especially as what you claim, it can help you to find dofollow blogs. I tried making a search at Google but no results or information on this software. Can you please help to provide their official website address so that we can learn more about it? Thanks
