How much is the price to place a link in a PR4 website?

I was thinking of getting a link in a PR4 site. Paid link of course. How much do you guys think is the right price/amount to pay for the link to place at the PR4 site for one year?

For me, I charge $10 per month for my PR4 website. The link is site-wide so I think it justify the price. Also, I get at least 200 unique visitors per day so it is quite worth it. Furthermore, many of my inner pages are PR2-3 so I think the deal is pretty good. It is a pity that my main page is now only PR3 while one of my sub domain is a PR4.

I'm not sure. i have my friends who sells his PR4-5 site space to others people. He earn a lots because he charga 100 usd for 1 month. What do you think bout that? Its worth? Or you think its too cheap?

Another factor will be the traffic. Some PR4 websites without much traffic can't fetch a lot. A high traffic website like JohnChow.com sells links at premium rates and are always booked for a few months in advance.

I'm just wondering whether it is viable to do that. Nowadays google has been looking for ways to penalize website selling links. If you managed to secure a link at the PR4 site, the next you know it will suddenly drop to PR2 because of google's action and you have already bought the link there. Will myself get penalized also because I bought the link?
