Just to share with you guys. IF you have your own blog, try to use Bloggeries. They actually have a forum so that bloggers can interact around and exchange ideas on ways to promote your blog. If you are lucky, you might have your blog get free reviews by the webmaster. It's really a great directory. Would recommend.

yes i have used bloggeries nice forum,,lot of good information
and nice ppl all to gether
i got my first blog reviewed very nicely

that was a nice one? thanks i would definitely try it ans hope to get great links in those. Nowadays competition is really tough. So we do need to get the edge at all times. Using this service could help you out.

Bloggeries? Ehm, i'm fine with my method. Its good and works. Its also help a lots for my traffic and make my site become better.

That sounds pretty good. I think I will give it a try and see if anything comes out of it. It is always good to give my blog a bit more exposure.

They actually set a requirement to have a minimum 10 posts before submitting to the moderators for review. A cool concept I guess. I've seen some positive reviews written there and I'm sure that will bring in some traffic as well.

You mean you need to sign up there and post ten posts and then send your blog link to mods and they place the reviews? If it gets some traffic then its well and good. Will have to try that. But that trick also does work in webmaster forums too. Have noticed some people doing that.

I am too using them

. They offer benefits just like other similar blog directories and forums. The unique thing is, the free review you get by the site owner. Although, they don't have many members yet, but I wish they soon build up as a strong network and we, the members, get nice backlinks.

Well basically I think it is much more focused compared to webmaster forums. First it is only for blog and many people who have a blog will usually flock over there hoping to get a review. Pretty good reviews as well as what I've seen.

Let me clear a few things.

You need 10 posts to access to top section which also contains; Blogging Jobs; [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] etc... The reason you need 10 posts is too many people were joining; asking for a review and never coming back so other members were wasting their time with people who would not help the community. This way 10 posts isn't a lot but we can catch most spammers after 10 posts; you see the patterns and know what to look for. Chances are if you join and make 10 decent posts you'll find out that you like it and stay around anyways after you show off your blog. The more active you are on the forum typically the more comments / exposure you get in SOYB area.

You can also "Request a Blog Review" this is one that is done on our main [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. We have thousands of requests so... Your best bet for traffic and exposure is to Show off your blog as mentioned earlier.

Besides a forum and reviews the resource also has a Blog Directory Submission and Free blog polls as well as Blogging Guides.

Wow, I didn't really expect a rep from bloggeries to actually come here and do blog promotion at Bevyhost.

It's great to read how you guys managed to get things going over there. If I'm not mistaken, last year when I first saw bloggeries, it was just a small community. But today, just look at the size.

I'm the owner actually I saw this thread in our stats and thought I'd say hello. Thanks for mentioning us and we're very pleased with the growth; lot's of hard work and perseverance but... most good things require that!

Last year at this time the community had 45 active members.
