Squidoo Lens

I always come across web advice saying that squidoo lens can actually help to bring in traffic but I never took it seriously to actually try the method. Would like to hear it from members who has successfully run their own lens and would like to know how effective exactly the method is to actually bring in the traffic.

It is not a bad site and contains some pretty good information. My major problem with this site is its credibility - there are simply too many affilate marketers hawking their products while claiming to review their product that they are selling objectively. There is not much of a distinction between editorial and advertising.

From what I've read, it will automatically give you a free backlink but traffic wise not sure bout it. I guess you have to go on to promote it just like your other sites.
