Lowest Alexa ranking?

Do anybody has any idea how their ranking system actually defines ranking. Can two different sites share the same ranking? I as know, the lower your rating is, means the higher your ranking. How about the lowest ranking? I think it must be billions with the amount of website around.

Ya in alexa the lower your rank is the higher it is. I mean 1st the the top most. Not uite sure about two sites sharing the same rank. I think it would not be the case.

Ranking on alexa is think is only based on the traffic to your site and nothing else. The better your traffic the better your rank.

If you not have fresh content and not always update your site, i believe that alexa will down everyday. Sometimes i see my alexa rank is up and down. When my blog is down, its effect my alexa rank at my blog..

Just curious to know what's the answer is. I mean there must be billions of blogs and websites around and if let's say one of the terrible ones must be ranked number 1 billionth??? Not sure. Kind of interesting to find out.
