How many post to put on one page?

Can 5 posts about 500 word long be to much on one page? How much you can recommend to put? If I put to long and many posts, visitor have to scroll very long but too short, page not nice. Please advice.

It might be easier if you post how many lines 500 words takes up on your pages. It could depend a lot on your font size etc

That's an easier way to determine how much space it takes up.

Actually, its up to you. even you want to put short post also can as long as you think that will attract more people to come to your site. For me, i believe many people have their own way to attract to some site right?

Just do some experiment on your own and try with different combinations. Pretend yourself as the visitor and if you are one of them, what would you choose or like. From there, decide which one should be the best.

Thx all for the good advice. I will try and check. I feel should write shorter post in a page. I hope visitors will not get bored read content. How to get reader attention?

Thats nice idea and thats also what i'm doing since last year. Think what your visitor want and what can attract them to stick at your site always..

Anything more then 8 can get annoying I find, its down to personal preference, it also depends on how long each one is. As long as you never go over 600 words with about 8 on one page you are ok

Yeah definitely 8 is too long. Just imagine the guy have to scroll down so long. If this is the case, then contents are just more than images itself and it will really look awkward. Try to balance them out.

Actually, even its short or long, its fine with me. But like you said, maybe some peopel not interested to read to long article or info at first page. Sometimes, i also feel bored, so i leave that site. If interesting and that info really make me need to stick and read that. I will stay.

It really depends on the length of each one, I mean if its only 20 words then it doesnt matter if you have 8 or 9, but if you have a REALLY long artical then I suggest only 1 to a page

Yes, that depends on the length as well. The best way to find out is to try with different combination and check yourself. I think if the post is like 100 - 200words long, 5 posts should be ok.

Ok. I can try. Thx for advice. Now I know how many post to put on one page. Maybe I can follow some good website and see how they do. Can learn many things here
