Sometimes the adwords displayed on my web page come up incorrectly?
The adverts are not related to the page content. It only seems to happen on the first page of my site. Do i have to setup some meta data or something to help the Adwords system?

Yes, the meta tags will certainly help but the system is not foolproof meaning that the bots can interpret wrongly and cause some irrelevant ads to appear. Another factor is the work of adwords advertisers that will target certain particular low paying keywords. Mostly these advertisers are adsense adbritage looking for cheap ads space.
