Placing Images Next to Adsense Ads

Hi I read about this when I was browsing the Internet. What do you guys think about the issue? Appreciate input.

Hmm ya i did know about that. And people have been penalised and banned due to those issue earlier too.

But one more thing i would like to add to it is that Google has also said that the images can be next to ads but they should be saperated by a saperating dark line or margin so that the visitors do not get confused or the visitors come to know that both f them are not at all related.

But still its a bit riskey. You never know for what google kicks your a** later

Thats why i was a bit worried about these image hosting sites as the always contain images and no or very less content.

Yap. I know about that. But i never did that before. So, its not a big problem to me. I'm fine with my own way.

Hmmm...what I know is that images or graphic suggesting or confuse visitors to click on the ads is definitely not allowed. But i didn't know that simple images can only be there if there's separation line. In fact, there are people who commented that their Adsense earning just shoots up upon using it. Well just for thoughts maybe, it's not worth the risk I guess.

Google doesnt like people to feel cheated into clicking links which they pay you for, and the picture next to it can trick them.

Its not like google would go to any lengths to screw other one of its users..... so why would we want to screw them over lol

Yeah, you have a point there. It's very rare to come across sites using that method nowadays. I guess some of the people who got banned from Adsense is believed to be involved in this.

Yap. I heard many my friends got banned because of this case. So far, i never did that because i also think its like cheating even we know its a luck if someone click the link. So far, its just fine with me..

What we need is to be careful and never involve with fraud click.

Update: I have found someone who has been using swf files (flash) next to it for months on end and has yet to be banned by google. The flash itself basically keeps pointing at different banners saying "click it fool" was amused by this but not sure if or when he will be banned

Which site is that? Whatever it is, if it's against the Google TOS, they will eventually get banned sooner or later. Just need to see how they actually work this out.

I still think that text ads is the best. And you're right about being banned. We'll never know when we break the rules.

Really? Too bad they already got banned because of that. Some people who run ptc and autosurf also got banned if you put adsense ads at that site. So, be careful about anyway you can get banned from google adsense program.

Autosurfing.... the word I hate to read. I paid a company good money in the hope they would boost traffic and PR, but no, they spammed my link on other blogs and slapped used a autosurf site, little to NO organic visits in that time.
