Google's YouTube Priority - A New Advertising Frontier
Google CEO Eric Schmidit has stated that this year's highest priority is to make money off YouTube. The new ad service will go beyond basic in-line advertising that YouTube currently runs.
Look like we will have another advertising innovation google style!

I hope they don't just focus on ad alone. You can understand they need to make back the money but not in the expense of growing the community and videos tech more advanced.

The best you can hope for is some other incidental benefits arising from new advertising Youtube platform. Google's top priority is making money not to serve the public.
