What do you feel about the upcoming windows 7
For me, while I'm not really excited about the new release but I will be all out interested to check out how the new OS would fare. Would you jump into buying the new upgrade for your Vista or XP?

I think its out! There are good reviews about it and most of them preffered dumping Vista to use Windows 7. Even top PC and Laptop brands now offer Windows 7 home edition for their clients on purchase of PC or Laptop. Looks like it certainly has an upper hand.

Yes m sure that its out. Oh or might be the home edition is out. One of my friend has ordered a Dell Studio and they are giving Windows 7 home edition with it instead of Vista. I think they are giving it with all new laptops now.
BTW the review seems to be a bit more on the positive side isant it??

Yeah, there are certain reviews that say it's not worth upgrading. Anyway, have to use it before passing final judgment.

 BTW i read it somewhere that the students are being offered the Home edition for a very low price. Try to see if you can get your hands on to it.

It's confirmed. Windows 7 is out already. Just checked out Dell homepage and they already have desktop and laptop range based on windows 7.

Hey, I was at the computer store this morning and the windows7 interface sure looks cool. I didn't get the chance to fully check out all the new enhancements but it sure runs fast compared to Vista.

Wow you really had your hands over it? Did not get a chance to check it out but seems impressive over the videos on You tube.
Here in my state the resellers are not selling it yet. Even new laptops or systems come with Vista but allow free upgrade to Windows 7

Don't worry mate, I was thinking of just leaving the current one to share the same network connection. Sometimes when it comes to the situation whereby I need to run some downloading and at the same time continue to browse, having two lappie with two processors still help to make a difference.

LOL then what to do of the Desktop! Cant say no to desktop! And with desktop its like you can upgrade your processor or graphic card ram as per needs. But with lappie its difficult only RAM and HDD can be upgraded.

Well that's why when it comes to getting lappie, it has to aim for the highest spec. Something like a GE force graphics card. So far, I saw two different brands of laptops with the graphic card selling for under $800 one is from Toshiba and another one from Asus

Ye if you are buying a new one you certainly need to aim for higher configs. Dell is also come up with great configs in their Studio range with 4GB RAM n 500GB hardisk ect and 512 ATI grafic card.

I definately could see people dumping Vista as there were gripes with that. I will check it out. BUt for the moment I am still XP.
I hate the Windows 7 commercials they have here in the US. The premise is implying that Microsoft consulted everybody and took their ideas and created Windows 7 just for them.

I think graphic card is more important than anything else especially in laptops. There's a way for HDD and memory to plugin easily but it will be difficult for graphic card which is why we need to aim for the high end range.
