Revamped Live Search?

Does Microsoft has any plans to revamp and improve their Live Search? So far based on ratings by other internet users including myself, their search results and functions are nothing compared to Google and Yahoo. I'm surprised this is something we did expect from Microsoft. What do others think?

Ya thats right. That thing even surprised me a lot. MSN seems to be very cool and patient in the run against the others. Dosent seem like they are taking much efforts to create a good and huge impact. Seems like they are resting??

Something similar to the race between the rabit and tortoise. The rabbit still seems to be taking rest.

Revamped or not, I am pretty much set on sticking to Google unless something huge can dislodge me. MSN is quite inferior to Google and Yahoo in terms of search. However, I do see them updating their search engine often which is a good sign.

Maybe they are just not interested in search engine or it could probably because they tried but never made it. I'm not against them (except windows of course ) but it would be better it there is an extra search engine which is good and reliable other than only Google and Yahoo.

I think there are a few out online. But the thibg is that they could never meet the requirements or the status as that of Yahoo and Google.

Both are very well established as well as very good in their functioning and search. So any other search engine entering ould need to atleast leave one of the above back to establish his name.

I just wonder how Google managed to established themselves very fast. During the time that they start enter the search engine world, there are the dominant ones like yahoo, altavista and lycos. Eventually all that still remains popular today are only like yahoo and google only.
