Microsoft cancels online library projects

Live Search Books and Live Search Academics are canned by Micorsoft and will be taken down this week.

Microsoft launched its online library projects after Google started an ambitious campaign to make all written works available free online amidst protests over copyright violations.

Hm, well I wouldn't like to read via my computer anyway.
I'd find it rather straining on my eyes, so I prefer to read off paper.

That is probably the reason for the continued existence of newspapers and books

Anyway, it seems that Microsoft will do whatever Google does, kind of a monkey see, monkey do.

Yes.. I too agree with you. they wants to be in the competition which they dont know that they are never close to google ..They try to create things which google starts and then get failed.. I think they must try something new so that they can attract more peoples..
