Wow, this seems big. Looks like Microsoft is really taking a big leap for the offer bid. Looks like if it manages to takeover Yahoo, they are launching a challenge to Google’s dominance over search engine business. Let’s see how it goes….

Microsoft is simply great. Its actually the king of computers. For them Google is just like an upcoming kid

who has all his homework really very well done

May be we can call Google the king of internet.

Yeah... If they managed to secure Yahoo that would totally change the whole internet world. Can you imagine? It's Yahoo here we are talking about. I think Microsoft also realized that with not much success with MSN, they want to take a much faster step like acquiring an established search engine. I just wonder what would happen to all my Yahoo search listing? So no more worries about getting listed in MSN

Ya thats right. When we usually compare Yahoo, Google and MSN we just take them to be equal in which Google has headed ahade of both of them.

So just imagine if Yahoo and MSN combine what would be the situation.

But is that deal final. I mean, has yahoo gone for it. I dont think they probably would. Just seeing the way they are progressing with their YSM ect and other things.

But who knows whats gonna happen?

I'm just wondering what will Yahoo be called next? Will they change the name or anything? There are many questions here such as what would happened to YM, YPN, Yahoo! Mail, things like that. I just hope they don't mess us Yahoo just like Microsoft did on Windows.

Must be new name right? So, how about yahoo mesengger and MSN mesengger? What happen to all yahoo product?? I can't believe IF its really happen..

I dont think they would intend o change the name and all. If i bought yahoo

(just an example) I would never change the name.

May be i would endorse somewhere as owned by me or something like Microsoft's Yahoo.. Or something similar.

Agree. Its totally weird if yahoo accept that offer. Maybe if Microsoft can double or triple the offer. I also will interested if the offer is really crazy right? but i don't think yahoo will take that offer..

Yeah, most probably that would be the case. Changing name involves too many issues and I think they would just stick to the current one and add something like you mentioned here.

Changing name will be another crazy work to do by both company. I don't think its easy to do that. Like i think before, its almost impossible for yahoo to accept that offer.
