Yahoo says more than a third of shareholders voted against Yang

What do you guys think? With Yang a staunch supporter going against the Microsoft & Yahoo deal, do you think that boardmembers are trying to oust him and thus push toward the Yahoo sale to Microsoft.

Looks like the sign is showing. Yahoo is most likely losing the battle.

Well at least Yang was not voted out; I guess shareholders are retaining him but keeping him a tight leash. A weakened and chastened Yang but still alive kicking

lol..yeah the guy has tried his hardest not to bow out to Microsoft and yet the shareholders have been at his back, it just seems like a matter of time before yahoo crosses over to the Microsoft arena. It'll be interesting how it all ends, its gone on long enough as it is.

Sometimes shareholders do not have the big picture in mind - all they can see is the $$ sign and Microsoft's price wasn't too bad. Now it is time for Yang to prove himself again.

Politics is raging no matter where we go and that includes a reputable company like Yahoo. I wonder if all these were also partly Microsoft trying to induce members to oust him out so that they can finally own Yahoo.
