Want suggestion
can any buddy tell me why yahoo not show the Page rank in his toolbar.My friends says that yahoo is give p r but i think only google is give pr.

As far as I know and heard of, yahoo actually has their own system called "web rank" which is actually similar to the PR system that google has. However, based on my own searching it seems that the ranking system was no longer in use after the beta version has ended. No reason were given for it though.

Havent heard much about their page rank system too. Rather Microsoft ranking system is much more into limelight these days.

Yup at least bing has their own ranking system. The data is actually available and can be seen in the Bing webmasters tools whereby it will show the strength of every page.

But on occasions I do wonder if people actually take the Bing ranking system seriously. Haven't noticed much people running crazily to ranked better there as compared to the people who put in tremendous efforts to get a better Google PR

Yes, that's because bing hasn't been widely used and focused on by every webmasters. The development all relies on their search engine progress.

There are Internet services that offer traffic counters I wouldn't be surpised if they offered Page Ranking.

@A-Nat do you mean giving a rank or having a ranking system for sites or just displaying it??
I think there are lot of sites which display the PR of your site in form of a small widget.

Oh, I think what he means is the small little box that comes in the form of plugin which you can display on your site to show off page rank and traffic counters.

In that case there are losts of site offering those service. If you actually check all SEO sites or sites used to check pagerank provide that service. Actually in that way they also are doing very good link building for them selves

Yeah they offer a little box that counts the traffic but I believe some of them also track the page ranking. It may not appear on your little box but I believe some do offer the page ranking and other data on your account.
I know some of them that estimate your site value also calculate your page rank. Of course I have no idea how many of them are acccurate or not so you may check a few and see if there is a consistant number.

Ye LOL the funniest thing is the site value widget
 LOL why would visitors want the site value untill and unless you want to sell the site or you are looking for some prospective buyers.Other stats also are not that important for general visitors. May be they may help you in getting some advertisiment offers if your site ranks better or has loads of traffic.
