Still with Yahoo! Mail

After so many years, I'm still attached to Yahoo! Mail. Reason? Well, I just prefer it compared to others. Gmail may be great but it's too simple. What I like most, is the avatar feature which they integrate in your mail. Nice to show our mood

i don't like Gmail's design either. i use gmail just for my blogger,adsense and analytics accounts. else, for Paypal & for friends i've always used Yahoo Mail. I think i made my first e-mail adress 8 years ago, when i first got in touch with internet...

I do have an account with them but not much of activity out there from me. I use it for YIM. But acually if you see yahoo is good and much mor dynamic as compared to others.

I simply tried using a marquee in yahoo which worked but did not work with gmail and rediff. So that can be an added previlage with them.

I have a yahoo account just for messenger thinggy but I dont use the email option as I receive a lot of spam from it. Though it improved a lot I still dont use there email.

IMO, Yahoo mail is Good but Gmail is better. Gmail may take time to load but once it is loaded it is very fast. And another thing about Yahoo mail is:- Just recently I was having problem in Yahoo mail on getting delayed confirmation email in my mail box. It takes around 20 minutes to get a confirmation email from different websites into my mail box however in Gmail, I tried with same resource, it was within a flash of a second. Don't know why.

Of course i still stay with yahoo mail. Why i want to leave yahoo? Even i also have others email account, i still use yahoo. Why i cannot leave it? Its because i need yahoo for my yahoo mesengger and for mybloglog. Thats all.

I still have a Yahoo email account too. I just use mine for my personal emails. I overall like Yahoo although at times I find that I do not receive emails from people in a timely fashion or have other difficulties.

Recently due to the problems on having mails delivered to junk folder, I've directed certain important mails to my gmail account. I still maintain my network of friends communicating through Yahoo Mail though especially those active on messenger.

I still use both. Yahoo or Gmail. Its because we need to have both account. I love to try many email account. Sometimes some company email also looks good to me.

Hmmm... I'm just looking for another mail program very much similar like Yahoo! Mail with the avatar feature. Anybody has any idea which mail program offers Avatar feature?

Avatar features? Did you mean like mybloglog? I think you can use blogcatalog. Its have features like mybloglog too.

What do you mean?? Yeah something like that. You can customized your avatar to make it look just like you and with different clothing accessories. It's much more advanced compared to mybloglog.

Yes i'm still with yahoo mail. Easy to use for me. I never got the problem with yahoo mail even there are free. Good services they give to us

Guys maybe I'll be aborting use of yahoo mails. Nowadays my mailbox are just full of junkload and what frustrates me the most, is that some of my important mails are sent to junk folder. Sometimes mails that you receive after registration also took a long time to arrive.

I need to agree about this one. Its happen many times since last year. Sometimes i need to logout first and login again if i want to get that activation mails. BUt its just fine. We just need to wait. Its not a big problem actually..

Yes, I'm still using yahoo mail from years ago until today. It's pretty popular and I don't think the other competitor like Gmail can catch up easily.

Gmail? Of course its still cannot become popular like yahoo in short time. But its become famous today because of Google adsense. So far, its still good and i'm happy being yahoo and gmail user.

I agree with you. Google maybe popular (and rich

) in the search engine business, but Yahoo came up with the idea first. That's the first email that most people ever know, not for all people, but at least it's the first for me.

Yap. Since 4 years ago, i know about Yahoo first before Google. I know google after that. First, i know Google. Then, i know google adsense. The last one, i know about Gmail and GTalk..

Even Google is the best choice now. I still stick with Yahoo for email provider.

I use yahoo mail but not that frequent. If I have urgent mail, I will send to my gmail and it reach faster. I prefer the classic layout more than new design.
