What is your success rate using Link Units

Although Google argue that having link units is a great idea to increase CTR and revenue, to me, I think it won't contribute much. First of all, it's not a direct served ads and usually my tracking with channels show that the CTR is much lower compared to ad units. What's your view?

Yes you seem to be true according to my thinking too. Even I dont use them much. Just got either one or two sites with those units.

Though it actually does not appear as ads but then it redirects to a page which is only full of ads. That doesent seem impressive to me something like taking are pushing your visitors away.

It would be very very nice if they have had directly linked it to any particular advertisers site. Rather in that case it would have converted the most as per me.

Yes, when the visitors click on the link units and taken to a page full of ads, the person will somehow not interested to follow further into it. That's why I use the link unit some time a while back but after seeing the low CTR, I decided not to use it.

the success rate of the links dont matter enough as........

Hmm...not quite understand what you are trying to say there. I'm merely comparing the effectiveness between link units and ad unit to get your opinion which one is better.
