Thriller is first published in 1982. It sells millions of copies. To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Thriller, Jackson issued Thriller 25, comprising original material from the album, re-mixes, the previously unreleased song "For All Time" and a DVD. At its 25th anniversary, Thriller retained important influence over the music industry, artists, and American culture.

Even if you are not the fans of MJ, you can the wonderful sound on the record. As an excellent songwriter, Michael Jackson had created 4 songs in the album Thriller, and co-created one song, which counts half of the album. From the singles Billie Jean and Beat it, you get to know the inside world of this great and mystic genius. Even though I think this album does is not the peak of Michael Jackson’s creation, however, the surprising selling of the album, the unprecedented street dance and famous moon walk, tip toe on floor like ballet, dancing with the melody of Billie Jean make Michael Jackson to the King of Pop without any doubt.
For those who get to know him because of the recent negative reports, I hope that you can listen to his songs and evaluate it more objectively. There are many talented artists who did not get respect when they were alive, but if we only take an objective review only after a hundred year. I think it is the utmost tragedy. For the so-called weird actions of Michael Jackson like having a pet chimpanzee, the change of his appearance are the personal affairs, to some extent it could be on the demand of the work. MJ is a great icon nowithstanding all his failings. I miss his Beat it and moonwalk

He was an amazing performer and a talented musician and that is all we really know about him. No disrespect wooder, but I will not judge him by the media or by his music. He was an entertainer. You have no idea what he was really like for the good or bad.

And charity does not make you a good or a bad person it makes you a charitable person. Don't take his generosity out of context. You don't have to be a good person to give a lot of money, you just have to be a rich person.

And as talented as he was, he was smart enough to hire talented people. Quincy Jones played a huge role in the making of Thriller and other Jackson mega LP's. And Jackson did not write all of his music.

The most memorable moment I will always remember about MJ is the part when he sang "we are the world". I'll definitely miss him very much. The world has lost a talented and gifted singer.

Turns out that death is a great career move for musical artists. Elvis made more dead than alive. Tupac put out more CD's dead than alive. Jim Croce won all of his Grammy's dead.

The thing is that when the news about his death spread, all of his cds at the music store were snapped up.

Well some of that did start when he announced the London shows. But it escalated at meteoric speeds when he died.

Yeah, all though his father and some other blood hounds will try and milk some more hurrah's out of his death! You can bet on that!

Like I said before Elvis made more cash as a dead man then he did alive. Heck Yoko Ono has made some pretty good scratch from John Lennon's death too.
